Okay so, Tonight I went to another church. I went to my friend alex's church because they were having a church revival. She has been asking me to go the entire week, but as always I've been busy. I had promised her that I would go with her atleast one time before it ends. It was suppose to end Saturday but they had to move it up to thursday(tonight) so I rescheduled my appointment with my bed to a later time, and went with her. Now if you have been keeping up with my blog lately you will have read about another church I had gone to not so far back, that had the drums, bass and electric guitars and hymnal books for looks. Well Alex's church has Drums(they dont use them though), bass(they also dont use this either) and acoustic guitars, and a piano, with hymnals they actually use. When we drove up the first thing that caught my eye was this cloud of smoke hovering above the church members, I tried to follow the line of smoke back to its origin but could not tell, as we drew closer to the church I see that it's cigarette smoke. I asked Alex "Why is everyoneover there smoking?" she replied "Oh thats the smoking corner, most everyone smokes" I thought "hmmm... well thats rather weird, I've never been to a church where over half of the members smoke" It was kinda weird to me. We went inside and sang for about an hour, and the guest preacher preached, he was rather good if I say so myself. We sang some more after the sermon and were dismissed. As we walk outside I see that everyone is congregated in the "smoking area". I saw the Pastor of the church, the guest Preacher, the Pianist, and many more outside smoking. If many of you dont know this my mom smokes and I've grown used to the smoke, so it wasnt that unusual to see people smoking but for people to be smoking at a church is completely different. I dont know maybe its just me?
But all in all I had a great time Thanks Alex it was great. :)
